New additions to the farm!

It's been awhile since my last post so I thought I would update with some new farm additions! Made a weekend trip to Illinois with some good friends of mine Kathryn and Yvonne of www.stillwaterfarm.weebly.com (My partners in crime lol!) It was the trip we had been dreaming of as we were picking up some new bunnies from Bumblebee Acres one of the best breeders! We had to get up at the crack of dawn and drive for six hours in thick fog but we finally made it! So I present to you the new bunnies! This is Louet a Broken Chocolate doe. Love her coloring and I'm hoping for some beautiful babies from her this fall.

Next bunny is Ashford the sweetest most spoiled little guy I have ever met! He is a little smaller than Louet but he has the funniest personality and the most amazing wool! He is a copper agouti. And as you can see he is very photogenic! 

 Of course my parents set a two bunny limit but... I couldn't resist just one more little bunny:) Cupid is an older buck who was born on Valentine's Day (hence the name.) as to his color I am completely stumped! He is Harlequin marked and tort marked at the same time plus he has agouti rings! So we've decided he is a tortaharligouti! (Yes I just came up with that!) Most likely he is a Torted Harlequin but I won't know until I see what colors his babies are. Speaking of which I should have a litter end of this month if all goes well! Cupid is the dad and Maple Sugar is the mom. So excited and hoping for some Harlequin marked babies! 

Also lambing season begins at the end of the month so hopefully my next post will be full of plenty of cute little lambies and bunnies!
